Section 1Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Student Loans) (Amendment) (No. 2) (England and Wales) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st August 2002 immediately after the coming into force of the Education (Student Loans) (Amendment) (England and Wales) Regulations 2002 .

(2) These Regulations do not apply in or as regards Scotland .

Section 2Amendment of Regulations

The Education (Student Loans) Regulations 1998 shall be amended as follows.

Section 3Amendment of Regulations

In regulation 6(1)(a), 6(2)(a) and 6(4) for the figure of £1,070 there shall be substituted the figure of £1,075.
