Section 1Citation and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Protection of Children Act 1999 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2002.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Section 2Appointed day

12th March 2002 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 8 (searches of both lists under Part V of Police Act 1997) of the Protection of Children Act 1999.
