Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the National Health Service (Primary Care) Act 1997 (Commencement No. 8) Order 2002.

(2) This Order extends to England only.

Section 2Appointed day

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 41(10) of and paragraph 28 of Schedule 2 to the National Health Service (Primary Care) Act 1997 (minor and consequential amendments) insofar as they relate to the definition of “health service body” is 24th June 2002.
