Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 7th August 2002.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales, and Northern Ireland .

Section 2Contracts in relation to which the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 comes into force on 7th August 2002

The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, so far as not then in force, shall come into force on 7th August 2002.
