The Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 (Schedule 4) (Amendment) Order 2002

Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 (Schedule 4) (Amendment) Order 2002.

(2) This Order shall come into force 28 days after the day on which it is made.

Section 2

(1) Schedule 4 to the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 is amended as follows.

(2) For paragraph 10 substitute:

(10) Refreshments may be provided on the licensed premises except—

(a) where those premises are in England and Wales, intoxicating liquor within the meaning of section 201(1) of the Licensing Act 1964; or

(b) where those premises are in Scotland, alcoholic liquor within the meaning of section 139(1) of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976.

(3) In paragraph 11—

(a) for “Paragraphs 1 and 4” substitute “Paragraph 1”, and

(b) for “10(2) and (3)” substitute “10”.
