Section 1Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Employment Act 2002 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2002.

(2) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Employment Act 2002.

Section 2Commencement

Paragraph 50 of Schedule 7 to the Act, and section 53 of the Act so far as it relates to that paragraph, shall come into force on 31st July 2002.
