Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Queen’s Counsel Fees Order 2002 and shall come into force on 27th August 2002.

Section 2Fees upon application for recommendation for appointment as Queen’s Counsel in England and Wales

Any person who applies to the Lord Chancellor to be recommended for appointment as Queen’s Counsel in England and Wales shall pay a fee of £720.

Section 3Revocation

The Appointment of Queen’s Counsel Fees Order 1999 is revoked.
