Section 1
(1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2002.
(2) In this Order “the 2001 Act ” means the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001.

The Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2002
Section 2
The following provisions of the 2001 Act shall come into force on 12th August 2002—
(a) section 1 (offences leading to penalties on the spot), in so far as not already in force; and
(b) section 2 and sections 4 to 11 (penalty notices and penalties, procedure and interpretation).
Section 3
Section 127 (Pensions for ACPO staff) of the 2001 Act shall come into force on 1st September 2002.
