Section 1Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Financing of Maintained Schools (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 2nd September 2002.

(2) These Regulations shall apply only in relation to England.

Section 2Amendment of the Financing of Maintained Schools (England) Regulations 2002

(1) The Financing of Maintained Schools (England) Regulations 2002 shall be amended as follows.
(2) The following shall be added to Schedule 4:—
(28) Expenditure incurred by a governing body in the exercise of the power conferred by section 27 of the Education Act 2002.
