Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Bursaries for School Teacher Training) (England) (Revocation) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 5 th January 2003.

(2) These Regulations shall apply in relation to England.

Section 2 Revocation and savings

(1) Subject to paragraph (2) the following Regulations are revoked—

(a) the Education (Bursaries for School Teacher Training) (England) Regulations 2002 ;

(b) the Education (Bursaries for School Teacher Training) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 ; and

(c) the Education (Bursaries for School Teacher Training) (England) (Amendment) ( No. 2) Regulations 2002 .

(2) The Regulations mentioned in paragraph (1) shall continue to have effect in relation to bursaries and grants in respect of approved training in which a qualified teacher or classroom assistant began to participate or committed himself to participate before 5th January 2003.
