Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road User Charging (Enforcement of Charging Scheme Penalty Charges) (England and Wales) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st January 2003.

(2) These Regulations apply to England and Wales.

Section 2 Recovery of charging scheme penalty charges payable under a road user charging scheme

In respect of a charging scheme specified in the Schedule to these Regulations, any charging scheme penalty charges which are payable to a charging authority shall, if a county court so orders, be recoverable by that authority, as if they were payable under a county court order.
