Section 1 Citation, commencement, interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Service Departments (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 18 th December 2002.

(2) In this Order “the 1959 Order ” means the Service Departments Registers Order 1959 .

Section 2 Amendment of the 1959 Order

Article 5(1) of the 1959 Order shall be amended as follows:

(1) for the words “subsection (3) of section three” shall be substituted “section 3(3) or section 3A”; and

(2) for the words “that subsection” shall be substituted “section 3(3) or section 3A”.
