Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation) (Bermuda) Order 2002 and shall come into force on such date as the Governor of Bermuda may appoint by proclamation published in the Gazette of Bermuda.

Section 2

The Merchant Shipping Act 2002 , enacted by the Legislature of Bermuda, is hereby confirmed.
