Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (Fees) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.

(2) This Order does not extend to Northern Ireland.

Section 2 Increase in fees

The Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (Fees) Order 2000 is amended as follows:

(a) in article 2(3) for the sum “£170” there is substituted “£252”;

(b) in article 2(4) for the sum “£153” there is substituted “£226”; and

(c) in article 3 for the sum “£763” there is substituted “£1,130”.
