Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Redundancy Payments (Continuity of Employment in Local Government, etc.) (Modification) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.

(2) In this Order, “the Principal Order ” means the Redundancy Payments (Continuity of Employment in Local Government, etc ) (Modification) Order 1999 .

Section 2 Amendments to the Principal Order

(1) The Principal Order shall be amended as follows.

(2) In section 2 of Schedule 1—

(a) after paragraph 44 insert—

(3) In section 4 of Schedule 1, after paragraph 38 insert—

(4) In section 8 of Schedule 1—

(4AA) Tynedale Housing Company Limited.

(5) In section 10 of Schedule 1—

(a) after paragraph 5 insert—

(5A) a body designated as a Care Trust under section 45 of the Health and Social Care Act 2001 .

(b) after paragraph 6 insert—

(c) after paragraph 7 insert—
