Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) (Public Bodies) (England) (No. 2) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 28th April 2003.

Section 2 Designation as a public body

East Leake Schools Limited , being a person appearing to the Secretary of State to be exercising a function of a public nature, shall be a public body for the purposes of the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) Act 1970, in its application to England .

Section 3 Restrictions on agreements—East Leake Schools Limited

Agreements which may be entered into by East Leake Schools Limited by virtue of this Order shall be subject to the following restrictions—

(a) that any such agreements are for the provision of catering, cleaning or grounds maintenance services by Nottinghamshire County Council; and

(b) that any such agreements are made in connection with the provision of services in the area of Nottinghamshire County Council.
