Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Medical Practitioners Registration (Fees) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st April 2003.

(2) In these regulations “the Principal Regulations ” means the Medical Practitioners Registration (Fees) Regulations 1985 .

Section 2 Amendments of the Principal Regulations

In regulation 3(1) of the Principal Regulations, after the words “section 19, 21,” there shall be inserted “21A,”.

Section 3 Amendments of the Principal Regulations

In regulation 3(2) of the Principal Regulations after sub-paragraph (b) the following sub-paragraph shall be inserted—

(bb) For an application under section 21A £100

Section 4 Amendments of the Principal Regulations

In regulation 4(2) of the Principal Regulations after sub-paragraph (d) the following sub-paragraph shall be inserted—

(dd) On full registration under section 21A of the Act £290

Section 5 Revocation

The Medical Practitioners Registration (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 are revoked.
