Section 1

This Order may be cited as the General Optical Council (Registration and Enrolment (Amendment) Rules) Order of Council 2003.

Section 2

The General Optical Council (Registration and Enrolment (Amendment) Rules) Order of Council 2002 is hereby revoked with effect from 31st March 2003.

Section 1

These rules may be cited as the Registration and Enrolment (Amendment) Rules 2003.

Section 2

In the Registration and Enrolment Rules 1976 (which in their original form are scheduled to the General Optical Council (Registration and Enrolment Rules) Order of Council 1977 )the tables shown in the Appendix shall be substituted by the following:

Fees payable by Ophthalmic and Dispensing Opticians (Rules 20 to 23)

(a) For applications in respect of a registration period ending before 1st April 2003

(b) For applications in respect of a registration period commencing on or after 1st April 2003 except where paragraph (c) applies

(c) For applications in respect of a registration period commencing on or after 1st January 2004

Fees payable by Bodies Corporate (Rules 25 to 28)

(a) For applications in respect of an enrolment period ending before 1st April 2003

(b) For applications in respect of an enrolment period commencing on or after 1st April 2003 except where paragraph (c) applies

(c) For applications in respect of an enrolment period commencing on or after 1st January 2004

Section 2

The Registration and Enrolment (Amendment) Rules 2002 (which will be spent on the coming into force of these Rules) are hereby revoked.

Section 3

These Rules shall come into force on 31st March 2003.
