Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Rules my be cited as the Civil Procedure (Amendment No. 3) Rules 2003 and shall come into force on 9th June 2003.

Section 2 Citation, commencement and interpretation

In these Rules, a reference to a rule by number alone means the rule so numbered in the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 .

Section 3 Amendments to the Civil Procedure Rules 1998

In rule 43.2(3), for the word “litigation” the second time it appears, substitute “proceedings”.

Section 4 Amendments to the Civil Procedure Rules 1998

In rule 54.22—

(a) in paragraph (3), for sub-paragraph (a) substitute—

(a) the immigration or asylum decision to which the proceedings relate, and any document giving reasons for that decision;

(b) omit paragraph (5).
