Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Fines (Deductions from Income Support) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 20th June 2003.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales only.

Section 2 Amendment of the Fines (Deductions from Income Support) Regulations 1992

The Fines (Deductions from Income Support) Regulations 1992 are amended as follows—

(a) in regulation 1(2) in the definition of “application” omit “in the form and”;

(b) in regulation 3(1) omit “shall be made in the form set out in Schedule 3, or a form to like effect, and”; and

(c) omit Schedule 3 to the Regulations.

Section 3 Revocations

In the State Pension Credit (Consequential, Transitional and Miscellaneous) Provisions Regulations 2002 paragraph (6) of regulation 32 (Amendment of the Fines (Deductions from Income Support) Regulations 1992) is revoked.
