The Enterprise Act 2002 (Part 9 Restrictions on Disclosure of Information) (Amendment and Specification) Order 2003

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Enterprise Act 2002 (Part 9 Restrictions on Disclosure of Information) (Amendment and Specification) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 20th June 2003.

Section 2

In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Enterprise Act 2002.

Section 3

Schedule 14 to the Act (specified functions) is amended in accordance with Schedule 1 to this Order.

Section 4

Schedule 15 to the Act (enactments conferring functions) is amended in accordance with Schedule 2 to this Order.

Section 5

The subordinate legislation in Schedule 3 to this Order is hereby specified for the purposes of subsection (1) of section 238 (information) of the Act.

Section 6

The subordinate legislation in Schedule 4 to this Order is hereby specified for the purposes of subsection (3) of section 241 (statutory functions) of the Act.

Section 7

Schedule 5 (which contains repeals and revocations) has effect.

Section 8

Schedule 6 (which contains minor and consequential amendments) has effect.

Section 1

Schedule 14 to the Act is amended as follows.

Section 2

For the entry relating to the Fair Trading Act 1973 there is substituted—

Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11 of the Fair Trading Act 1973 (c. 41) .

Section 3

After the entry relating to the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 there is inserted—

Hallmarking Act 1973 (c. 43) .

Section 4

After the entry relating to the Competition Act 1980 there is inserted—

Video Recordings Act 1984 (c. 39) .

Section 5

After the entry relating to the Consumer Protection Act 1987 there is inserted—

Consumer Protection (Northern Ireland) Order 1987 ( S.I. 1987/2049 (N.I. 20) ).

Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (c. 48) .

Section 6

After the entry relating to the Timeshare Act 1992 there is inserted—

Clean Air Act 1993 (c. 11)

Section 1

Schedule 15 to the Act is amended as follows.

After the entry relating to the Prices Act 1974 there is inserted—

the relevant statutory provisions within the meaning of Part I of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (c. 37) .

Section 3

After the entry relating to the Consumer Credit Act 1974 there is inserted—

Unsolicited Goods and Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1976 (S.I. 1976/57 (N.I. 1) .

Section 4

After the entry relating to the Gun Barrel Proof Act 1978 there is inserted—

the relevant statutory provisions within the meaning of the Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order 1978 (S.I. 1978/1039 (N.I. 9) ).

After the entry relating to the Competition Act 1980 there is inserted—

Weights and Measures (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 (S.I. 1981/231 (N.I. 10) ).

After the entry relating to the Telecommunications Act 1984 there is inserted—

Section 7

After the entry relating to the Gas Act 1986 there is inserted—

Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 (c. 46) .

Section 8

After the entry relating to the Financial Services Act 1986 there is inserted—
