Section 1 Title, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (England) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 30th June 2003.

(2) This Order extends to England only.

Section 2 Amendments to the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978

(1) The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978 (“the 1978 Order ”) is amended in relation to England in accordance with the following provisions of this article.

(2) In paragraph (2) of article 6 of the 1978 Order (which specifies the date until which disinfectants subject to transitional provisions remain approved), for “30th June 1999” there is substituted “31st August 2003”.

(3) For Schedule 1 to the 1978 Order (which lists approved disinfectants) there is substituted the Schedule set out in Schedule 1 to this Order.

(4) For Schedule 2 to the 1978 Order (which lists disinfectants subject to transitional provisions) there is substituted the Schedule set out in Schedule 2 to this Order.
