Section 1Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Student Loans) (Amendment) (England and Wales) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1 st August 2003.

(2) These Regulations do not apply in or as regards Scotland .

Section 2Amendments

(1) The Education (Student Loans) Regulations 1998 shall be amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 6(1) to (4) for each of the figures in the first column below wherever it appears there shall be substituted the corresponding figure in the second column below:
