Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation) (Falkland Islands) Order 2003 and shall come into force on such date as the Governor of the Falkland Islands may appoint by proclamation published in the Falkland Islands Government Gazette.

Section 2

The Merchant Shipping Ordinance 2001 , enacted by the Legislature of the Falkland Islands, is hereby confirmed.
