Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Child Support (Applications: Prescribed Date) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 3 rd March 2003.

Section 2 Prescribed date

The date prescribed for the purposes of—

(a) section 4(10)(a) of the Child Support Act 1991 (applications for child support maintenance: exclusion in respect of existing maintenance orders); and

(b) section 7(10)(a) of that Act (application by child in Scotland for maintenance calculation: exclusion in respect of existing maintenance orders),

is 3 rd March 2003.
