Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st January 2004.

Section 2Amendment of the Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1994

(1) The Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1994 shall be further amended in accordance with the following provision of this regulation.

(2) In regulation 7(5) (supply of part-worn tyres for certain vehicles) (as it is to be substituted by regulation 4 of the Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 ) at the beginning of sub-paragraph (b), there shall be inserted the words “an approval mark,”.
