Section 1
This Order may be cited as the A5 Trunk Road (Weeford-Fazeley Improvement) (De-trunking) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 11th December 2003.

Section 2
In this Order—
(i) “the new trunk road” means the new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct referred to in article 2 of the A5 Trunk Road (Weeford-Fazeley Improvement) Order 2003 ,
(ii) “the trunk road” means the London to Holyhead Trunk Road (A5).
Section 3
The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies Staffordshire County Council that the new trunk road is open for traffic.
