This Order may be cited as the Credit Unions Act 1979 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2003 and comes into force on 1st September 2003.

Section 2Commencement of section 3(2) and (3) of the 1979 Act
1st September 2003 is the day appointed for the coming into operation of subsections (2) and (3) of section 3 of the Credit Unions Act 1979 (use of the name “credit union”) .
