Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (Commencement No.3) Order 2003.

Section 2

The following provisions of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 shall come into force on 5th January 2004:

(a) Chapter II of Part I (Acquisition and disclosure of communications data) (sections 21 to 25);

(b) section 57(2)(b);

(c) section 58(1)(g), (h) and (j);

(d) sections 65(5)(c) and (8)(b); and

(e) section 68(7)(g) and (h).
