Section 1
(1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2003.
(2) In this Order, “the 2003 Act” means the Criminal Justice Act 2003.

The Criminal Justice Act 2003 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2003
Section 2
The provisions of the 2003 Act referred to in the Schedule shall come into force on 26th January 2004 for the purposes of the passing of a sentence of imprisonment to which an intermittent custody order relates and the release on licence of a person serving such a sentence.
