Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Rating Lists (Valuation Date) (England) Order 2003, and shall come into force on 17th March 2003.

Section 2Valuation Date
1st April 2003 is specified under paragraph 2(3)(b) of Schedule 6 (non-domestic rating: valuation) to the Local Government Finance Act 1988 as the day by reference to which the rateable values of non-domestic hereditaments are to be determined for the purposes of the local and central non-domestic rating lists which are to be compiled for England on 1st April 2005.
Section 3Revocation
The Rating Lists (Valuation Date) Order 1998 is revoked.
