Section 1 Citation, commencement, application and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health (Functions) Amendment Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 28th March 2003.

(2) These Regulations apply to England only.

(3) In these Regulations—

“the principal Regulations ” means the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health (Functions) Regulations 2002 .

Section 2 Amendment of regulation 4 of the principal Regulations

In regulation 4 of the principal Regulations, in paragraph (d), after “Commissioner” insert “for England”.

Section 3 Amendment of regulation 5 of the principal Regulations

In regulation 5 of the principal Regulations, in paragraph (d), for “Commissioners” substitute “Commissioner for England”.

Section 4 Amendment of regulation 8 of the principal Regulations

In regulation 8 of the principal Regulations, in paragraph (1), for “regulation 8” substitute “regulation 9”.

Section 5 Amendment of regulation 9 of the principal Regulations

In regulation 9 of the principal Regulations, in paragraph (1), for “regulation 7(1)” substitute “regulation 8(1)”.
