Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation and Repeals) (Jersey) Order 2004, and shall come into force on 1 st June 2004.

The Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation and Repeals) (Jersey) Order 2004
Section 2
The Shipping (Jersey) Law 2002 adopted by the States of Jersey on 6 th December 2001 is hereby confirmed.
Section 3
The repeal by section 314(1) of and Schedule 12 to the Merchant Shipping Act 1995 of the Merchant Shipping (Registration, etc ) Act 1993 is hereby extended to the Bailiwick of Jersey.
Section 4
The Orders listed in the Schedule to this Order are revoked insofar only as they apply to the Bailiwick of Jersey.
