Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Magistrates' Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 1 st September 2004.

Section 2 Amendment of the Magistrates' Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) Order 2000

(1) The Magistrates' Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) Order 2000 shall be amended as follows.

(2) For paragraphs(a) and (b) in article 2 there shall be substituted the following paragraphs–

(a) paragraph 7(2) of Schedule 7 to the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000 ;

(aa) section 7(1) of the Bail Act 1976 ;

(b) in the Magistrates' Court Act 1980–

(i) section 1;

(ii) section 13;

(iii) section 76;

(iv) section 83(1) and (2);

(v) section 86(4);

(vi) section 93(5);

(vii) section 97;

(viii) section 97A ;

(ix) section 136;

(3) For paragraph (d) in article 2 there shall be substituted the following paragraph–

(d) paragraph 4 of Schedule 3 to the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 .
