This Order may be cited as the Health Act 1999 (Consequential Amendments) (Nursing and Midwifery) (No. 2) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 11 th August 2004.

The Health Act 1999 (Consequential Amendments) (Nursing and Midwifery) (No. 2) Order 2004
This Order extends to Scotland only.
In the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical Services) (Scotland) Regulations 1995 , in regulation 2 (interpretation and application), in paragraph (1) —
(a) in the definition of “independent nurse prescriber”, in sub-paragraph (a), for “Nursing and Midwifery Register” substitute “nurses' and midwives' professional register”;
(b) in the definition of “supplementary prescriber”, for sub-paragraph (a), substitute—
(a) the nurses' and midwives' professional register;
