Section 1 Title, application and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Feeding Stuffs (Sampling and Analysis) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2004, shall apply in relation to England only and shall come into force on 13 th September 2004.

Section 2 Amendment of the Feeding Stuffs (Sampling and Analysis) Regulations 1999

(1) The Feeding Stuffs (Sampling and Analysis) Regulations 1999 shall be amended, insofar as they apply in relation to England, in accordance with paragraph (2).

(2) For paragraph (3)(b)(ii) of regulation 6 (application of methods of analysis) there shall be substituted the following provision —

(ii) the procedure set out in Commission Directive 2003/126/EC on the analytical method for the determination of constituents of animal origin for the official control of feedingstuffs shall be used.
