Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Rail Vehicle Accessibility (South West Trains Class 458 Vehicles) Exemption (Amendment) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 30th September 2004.

Section 2Amendment
(1) The Rail Vehicle Accessibility (South West Trains Class 458 Vehicles) Exemption Order 2002 shall be amended as follows.
(2) In article 6(6)(a), for the words “at the end of 30th September 2004”, there shall be substituted “at the end of 31st July 2006”.
(3) For article 7 there shall be substituted—
(7) The authorisation shall cease immediately in respect of an exempted vehicle if the electrical multiple-unit of which the exempted vehicle forms a part is operated by a person other than South West Trains Limited.
