Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Discharge of Fines by Unpaid Work (Prescribed Hourly Sum) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.

Section 2
The sum prescribed as “the prescribed hourly sum” for the purposes of paragraph 1(2) of Schedule 6 (discharge of fines by unpaid work) to the Courts Act 2003 is £6.
