Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Best Value Authorities) (Power to Trade) (England) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 27th October 2004.

Section 2Amendment of the Local Government (Best Value Authorities) (Power to Trade) (England) Order 2004

The Local Government (Best Value Authorities) (Power to Trade) (England) Order 2004 is amended, in the Schedule (fire and rescue authorities to which article 4 applies and services that may be provided for a commercial purpose), in the entry for Essex Fire Authority, by the insertion in column 2 of—

(10) Vehicle maintenance and repair.
