Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane (Electoral Changes) (Amendment) Order 2004.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the day after that on which it is made.

Section 2 Amendment to the 2001 Order

(1) The Borough of Basingstoke and Deane (Electoral Changes) Order 2001 shall be amended as follows:

(2) In article 1(5) for the last sub-paragraph substitute the following—

any reference to the map is a reference to the map marked “Revised (2004) Map referred to in the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane (Electoral Changes) Order 2001”, of which prints are available for inspection at –

the principal office of the Electoral Commission; and

the offices of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
