Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2004.

Section 2 Commencement of provisions in European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003

The following provisions of the European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003 shall come into force on 5 February 2004—

(a) in the United Kingdom and Gibraltar—

(i) sections 20 and 21 for all remaining purposes; and

(ii) section 19 except so far as it—

(aa) was brought into force by the European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2004 ; or

(bb) relates to section 1A and 8 of, and Schedule 1A to, the European Parliamentary Elections Act 2002 ; and

(b) in Gibraltar—

(i) sections 1 and 8; and

(ii) section 28(2) so far as it relates to the provisions brought into force by paragraph (a) and sub-paragraph (i) above.
