Section 1

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Goods Vehicle Operators (Qualifications) (Amendment) Regulations 2004.
(2) These Regulations shall come into force on 1st January 2005.
(3) These Regulations do not extend to Northern Ireland.

Section 2

(1) The Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 shall be amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph 6(2) of Schedule 3 the words “authorising the use of vehicles for international transport operations” shall be omitted.
