Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 31st December 2004.

Section 2 Amendment of the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (England) Regulations 1992

The Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (England) Regulations 1992 are amended as follows in relation to financial years beginning on or after 1st April 2005.

Section 3 Interpretation

In regulation 2(2)(a), (b) and (c), for the word “multiplier” substitute “multipliers”.

Section 4 Rules for the calculation of non-domestic rating contributions

In Schedule 1 –

(a) in paragraph 1(4), for “2004” substitute “2005”.

(b) in paragraph 4(4), for “2004 is £84,106,000” substitute “2005 is £83,606,000”; and

(c) for Part II substitute–
