Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults and Care Standards Tribunal (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 11th January 2005.

(2) In these Regulations, “the Tribunal Regulations ” means the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults and Care Standards Tribunal Regulations 2002 .

Section 2 Amendment of regulation 1 of the Tribunal Regulations

In regulation 1(2) of the Tribunal Regulations (citation, commencement and interpretation)—

(a) in the definition of “the respondent”, in paragraph (i), at the end, add “or the Assembly”; and

(b) in the definition of “the Suspension Regulations”, at the end, add “or the Suspension of Day Care Providers and Child Minders (Wales) Regulations 2004 .
