Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 1st April 2004.

Section 2Amendment of the Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) Regulations 1997

For paragraph 3(1) of Part II of Schedule 2 to the Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) Regulations 1997 there shall be substituted the following—

(1) In respect of ships of all other classes, subject to a minimum charge of £60 per voyage, to a maximum charge of £13, 650 per voyage and to paragraph (2) below, the amount of light dues per voyage shall be 39 pence per ton.
