Section 1Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Railways Act 2005 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2005.

(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Railways Act 2005.

Section 2Commencement

(1) The provisions of the Act specified in Schedule 1 to this Order shall come into force on 8 th June 2005.

(2) The provisions of the Act specified in Schedule 2 to this Order shall come into force on 26 th June 2005.
