Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Railways (Rail Passengers' Council and Rail Passengers' Committees) (Exemptions) (Amendment) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 23rd July 2005.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order, “the 2003 Order ” means the Railways (Rail Passengers' Council and Rail Passengers' Committees) (Exemptions) Order 2003 .

Section 3 Amendment of 2003 Order

(1) The 2003 Order shall be amended as follows.

(2) Article 4 shall cease to have effect.

(3) In article 5(1), for the words “articles 3 and 4 apply” there shall be substituted the words “article 3 applies”.

(4) In article 5(2), for the words “Articles 3 and 4 do” there shall be substituted the words “Article 3 does”.
