Section 1 Citation, extent and commencement

This Order—

(a) may be cited as the Financial Assistance for Environmental Purposes Order 2005;

(b) extends to England and Wales and Northern Ireland only; and

(c) shall come into force on 29th July 2005.

Section 2 Variation of section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990

In section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (purposes for which financial assistance may be given), after paragraph (uu) there shall be added—

(vv) the scheme known as the Bio-energy Infrastructure Scheme.
