Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Olympic Lotteries (Declaration that London is to host the 2012 Olympic Games) Order 2005 and shall come into force immediately after being laid before Parliament on 7th July 2005.

Section 2Declaration

It is hereby declared that on 6th July 2005 the International Olympic Committee elected London as the host city for the 2012 Olympic Games.
