(1) In regulation 2(1) (Interpretation), after the definition of “court”, insert—
“family proceedings” means—
all proceedings under any one or more of the following—
the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 ;
the Domestic Proceedings and Magistrates' Courts Act 1978 ;
Part III of the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Act 1984 ;
the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985 ;
Parts I and II of and Schedule 1 to the Children Act 1989 ;
section 53 of and Schedule 7 to the Family Law Act 1996 ; and
proceedings which arise out of family relationships under either or both of the following—
the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 ;
the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 ;
“family relationships” has the same meaning as in the Funding Code which came into force on 1st April 2000 and the Funding Code Guidance published on 1st April 2000 by the Commission for the purpose of making decisions under the Funding Code;
(2) In regulation 2(3)(d) for “Approved Family Help” substitute “General Family Help and Help with Mediation”.
(3) In regulation 2(3) omit sub-paragraphs (e) and (f).
